.38 Original Radium - Gold Plated

A 24-karat plated Original Radium is a prime example of a local garage business becoming a proper business. As Radium Instruments Norway grows, so does the demand for a broader selection. The 24-karat plated watch has a hardness of approximately 180 HV on the Vickers hardness scale. In comparison, titanium on the Vickers scale has a hardness of around 115 HV.

The interior of the watch is made of acid-resistant steel, identical to our traditional 38mm short lug case. All work, from milling to polishing and gold plating to assembly, is done in Oslo.

The watch is powered by a Swiss SW200 movement, features an Original tobacco-colored dial, gold-plated hands and crown, and sapphire crystal. It is pressure-tested to 100 meters.
