Swiss precision movement
Long Lugs/Historic Radium watches
ETA/UNITAS 6497-1
The ETA/Unitas caliber 6497-1 is a Swiss made mechanical manual wind movement with 17 jewels. This caliber is one of the most popular hand-wound mechanical movements in the watch industry. The 6497 is often referred to as a “pocket watch movement” because that is the origin of the design.
We use the 6497-1 for Original Radium, Sabotør, Navigatør, Kommando and other models.
ETA/UNITAS 6498-1
The ETA/Unitas caliber 6498-1 is part of ETA’s Mecaline Specialities line of movements. It is a manual wind movement. Due to its high quality, it is one of the most popular mechanical calibers on the market.
Both 6497-1 and 6498-1 are very reliable workhorses developed in the 1950s. The main difference between these two calibers is that the 6498 has the seconds subdial at 6:00.
We use the 6498-1 for Radium M.O.D/Ministry of Defense.
Short Lugs/Contemporary Radium watches
SELLITA SW300-1B
Our contemporary watches feature an automatic movement with central seconds and a substantial power reserve.
The Sellita SW300-1b is a slim automatic watch movement, Swiss made with 25 jewels. This caliber is similar to the ETA caliber 2892-A2, however it offers more power reserve than the ETA.
The caliber number SW300-1 refers to a 3-hand movement with a date at 3:00, however we use the No Date version of the SW300-1. The no date version is a real no date without a phantom date position. Sellita officially identifies these as SW300-1 a (date) and SW300-1 b (no date).
